Our Primary Focus

ACCEND Accredited Communication Skills Training

The ACCEND programme recognised a need to standardise and improve training across the whole cancer care workforce. We were consulted to design communication skills courses to meet this need, delivering cost-effective training models across the entire pathway.

Our Blended Learning Approach

Our courses utilise a variety of delivery methods, blended for greater impact. Our role-play scenarios are used to demonstrate theory-in-practice to embed learning through experience. The courses we've developed for the ACCEND programme are curated from these methods and benefit from the experience of our facilitators and actors.

The courses are delivered in a variety of formats, depending on the need, level and volume of intended participants. Many of the courses provide the opportunity to learn and embed the skills for effective communication with theory-in-practice methods.

Utilising our experience delivering the ACST 'Connected' model for over two decades, we adapted this to our award-winning "Blended Learning" model in 2020. Since then, we have created communication skills courses specifically for various needs within the ACCEND pathway.
